1964 B.F. Goodrich Fleet Star — Original Paint, Freshly Serviced, Rides Now

Here is something most people do not know: B.F. Goodrich — the tire company — sold bicycles through its tire stores for decades. You did not buy a Fleet Star at a bike shop; you bought it where your father bought his tires. That retail quirk is exactly why these turn up far less often than Schwinns and Huffys, and why collectors of American badge-brand bicycles seek them out.

This 1964 Fleet Star has the details that matter: the original Fleet Star chain guard and the original B.F. Goodrich head badge are both present.
